Elo is a mobile application designed to help users practice English speaking and pronunciation through short daily exercises.

By downloading, accessing, or using the Elo app, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”).

2. Who Can Use Elo

You must be at least 16 years old to use Elo.

If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

You confirm that:

3. How Elo Works

Elo provides:

Elo does not guarantee fluency, test results, certifications, or professional outcomes. Progress depends on your effort and consistency.

4. User Accounts

Some features may require creating an account.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information

• Keep your login details secure

• Notify us if you believe your account was accessed without permission

You are responsible for all activity on your account.

5. Microphone & Audio Access

Elo requires microphone access to provide speaking practice.

By enabling microphone access:

• You allow the app to process your voice temporarily

• Audio is used only to provide app functionality

• Voice data is not sold

You can disable microphone access in your device settings, but some features may not work.

6. User Content

You may provide spoken input while using Elo.

You agree:

• Not to upload illegal, harmful, or abusive content

• Not to share sensitive personal information

• Not to misuse the app in a way that harms others or the service

You retain ownership of your content, but you grant Elo permission to process it only to provide the service.

7. Subscriptions & Payments

Elo may offer paid features or subscriptions.

Payments are handled through the Apple App Store.

We do not store your payment details.

Subscriptions:

• Automatically renew unless canceled

• Can be managed in your Apple ID settings

• Are subject to Apple’s terms and policies

Refunds are handled according to Apple’s refund policy.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Elo for illegal purposes

• Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or disrupt the app

• Abuse, harass, or threaten others

• Use automated tools to access the app

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

9. Intellectual Property

All content in the Elo app — including text, audio, design, logos, and features — belongs to Elo or its licensors.

You may not copy, distribute, or reuse any part of the app without permission.

10. Termination

You may stop using Elo at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your access if:

• We are required to do so by law

• The app is discontinued

11. Disclaimer

Elo is provided “as is.”

We do not guarantee:

• Error-free operation

• Continuous availability

• Specific learning outcomes

Use the app at your own discretion.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Elo is not liable for indirect or incidental damages

• Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid (if any) in the last 12 months
